Our Process

Recruiting is more than being the “middle man” who receives resumes and passes them on to clients. Here at Morrissey Savas Recruitment we are well aware there are individuals behind the resumes received and that finding the “right” employee is as much about personalities and emotions as it is about skill set and capabilities.

Morrissey Savas Recruitment’s approach to Recruitment has a proven track record of success. It is made up of a variety of procedures and industry knowledge which results in each position being individually assessed, a specific recruitment strategy implemented to suit those requirements and a culture and team fit being met.

Our screening process and search facility is thorough and complex. At the time of engagement, a database search is conducted for registered candidates meeting specific requirements. We also advertise your position on our own website and various electronic mediums at no cost to the client. Should newspaper advertising be requested/required this is discussed when the need arises and charged back at cost if utilised.

Applicants

Applicants have gone through our in depth interview and assessment criteria. During which time career history is scrutinized as is personality and possible cultural fit in accordance with client’s requirements. Candidates are briefed in full on each position and only forwarded once permission has been granted. We also conduct skills testing of candidates to verify computer competency and bookkeeping capabilities. If you require additional testing (such as psychometric testing), please advise your consultant. This is outsourced to specialists in the field and on charged at cost.

Once all is established to our satisfaction, ie: that the individual candidate meets job specifications/description, we will provide overviews on applicants outlining the above and forward their resume as received by Morrissey Savas Recruitment. (Please note, all candidates have been fully briefed on the position available, and only once they have advised their interest and given permission to forward their details to clients, will they be passed on to clients).

Morrissey Savas Recruitment organise all face to face interviews between candidates and clients. Once a candidate is chosen, we conduce and provide reference checks on that candidate. Morrissey Savas Recruitment also negotiate the offer on client’s behalf, salary package, start date and acceptance from the candidate.

After Care

At Morrissey Savas Recruitment we are confident of our placements’ success, however, we believe that each placement warrants more than just “place and forget”. We have an excellent follow up procedure which includes contacting both client and candidate at regularly intervals to ensure everything is progressing well for both concerned.
