Contracting for MS Recruitment

When placed in a contract by Morrissey Savas Recruitment (“MS Recruitment),MS Recruitment is your employer and you will be paid on a fortnightly basis. To be paid, you are to complete a weekly timesheet and have it authorised by our client and in particular your supervisor at your place of work. Time sheets should be faxed by 6.00 pm Friday evenings.

Payroll is processed fortnightly on Tuesdays, and funds accessible in your bank account each Wednesday.
Superannuation is paid at the standard compulsory superannuation rate (currently 9%) and paid into your nominated account. If you fail to stipulate an account, your superannuation will automatically be paid into Sunsuper.

Morrissey Savas Recruitment is responsible for your workers compensation cover if you are contracted as an individual and not through an ABN.

It is possible to use your own ABN and subcontract through Morrissey Savas Recruitment. Timesheets are still required to be completed, and an invoice matching hours worked is to be submitted to Morrissey Savas Recruitment weekly.

Please note: If you work under your own ABN you are responsible for your own workers compensation and superannuation payments.

Should your contact details change whilst contracting through Morrissey Savas Recruitment, please keep us informed.

If you have any concerns whilst working in a contract for Morrissey Savas Recruitment, do not hesitate to contact your consultant immediately. We do however, try and maintain regular follow up calls and/or emails to make sure you are happy in your contract.

Should you require to terminate a contract, it is appreciated if you could give at least 2 weeks notice. If for some reason, you require a shorter notice period, please discuss your situation with your consultant.

If you are offered a permanent position within 12 months of completing a contract for Morrissey Savas Recruitment with the client offering the position, Morrissey Savas Recruitment should be notified immediately.
