Sharon Morrissey – Director
Sharon Morrissey has extensive recruitment experience within Accounts Support, Human Resources, Procurement and Administration.
Added to this, Sharon spent many years in Senior Executive Assistant positions within the Chartered environment (predominantly the Big 4 ) in Brisbane.
As her roles expanded, Sharon was exposed to various forms of HR activities which gave her a strong desire to forge her career in this field. Consequently, Sharon decided to up-grade her skills and studied her MBA part time at Uni majoring in HR. After graduating, she joined a well known Brisbane agency working with Marianne Savas and specialising in the recruitment of Accounts Support, Human Resources, Procurement and Administration. During this time, Sharon was promoted to Manager, supervising a team of 6 permanent and contract consultants. After 6 years, Sharon resigned when the agency was sold and joined Marianne in creating Morrissey Savas Recruitment.
Having a strong sense of customer service and an excellent reputation within the Brisbane market, Sharon and Marianne formed a partnership whereby they could combine their experience and continue their philosophy of service (not sales) to both clients and candidates.

Marianne Savas – Director
Marianne Savas is a qualified Accountant and began her accounting career working for blue chip multinationals before making the transition into recruitment.
Marianne initially worked for a listed international Recruitment Agency before joining a Brisbane based boutique company in 2001. Marianne progressed her career for the next seven years building a strong reputation in the Brisbane market where she specialised in recruiting Assistant Accountants up to CFO level. Marianne was promoted to Manager of the Accounting division, where she continued to recruit Executive and Senior Accountants whilst supervising a team of contract and permanent consultants in this area.
Marianne has a proven track record of assisting Accountants make the right career choices which has culminated in her having an excellent reputation within the Brisbane market for providing more than just straight recruitment services. Through her passion for the industry and knowledge of her specialised recruitment area, Marianne has enjoyed watching and assisting people develop their careers forming long term relationships along the way.
In 2007, Marianne Savas joined forces with Sharon Morrissey opening their own boutique recruitment agency; Morrissey Savas Recruitment. Marianne continues to recruit both permanent and contract accounting roles whilst maintaining her strong customer service levels and career advice for candidates and clients alike.
